Dennis Higgs

Dennis Higgs is the Founder and Managing Partner of Newcastle Partners. During his 17 years with Newcastle, Mr. Higgs has directed the acquisition and development of over $1.1 billion of properties in the Los Angeles Basin and the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to founding Newcastle, Mr. Higgs was the Chief Investment Officer and Executive Vice President of Meridian Industrial Trust. One of the three founding partners of Meridian (NYSE: MDN), Mr. Higgs was Chairman of the Investment Committee and responsible for all real estate related activities including acquisitions, development and asset management. During his tenure at Meridian, he was responsible for more than $1 billion in new development and acquisition growth. ProLogis Industrial Trust acquired Meridian for $1.5 billion. Mr. Higgs has a Bachelors degree in Business from the University of Oregon.
